Please note that the photos may only be used to market Norway as a holiday destination. The material must not be lent, sold or transferred to other users without our permission.
Photos may be cropped. Electronic manipulation may only be carried out with written permission from Innovation Norway. Photographs must not be changed or reproduced such that the photographer's reputation is infringed.
The photos you have ordered may only be used in the production the order was for, and must be deleted afterwards. If you wish to use the photos in further productions, they must be re-ordered. The photos must not be used for direct commercial purposes, meaning they may only be part of a marketing campaign, and not in productions meant for sale (with the exception of travel guides). The person ordering the photos is responsible for ensuring they are used in accordance with our guidelines, and that the information in the registration form is the same as the intended use of the photos.
Use of photos that violates the guidelines stipulated above will result in the orderer being invoiced NOK 10,000 per photo.
Important: Remember to credit the photographer and Innovation Norway. The user is also urged to inform of the location the photo was taken, but this is not a requirement. Information about credits and the location the photo was taken is included in the text field linked to each photo.
If photos from Innovation Norway's photo database are reproduced without the above-mentioned credits, Innovation Norway will invoice the original orderer for the standard market price for equivalent use. The amount will be transferred to the photographer as royalties.
The red light indicates the photos may only be used by Norwegian organisations by special agreement. Any use and fee for these photos must be agreed with the photographer directly.
The yellow light indicates that permission for the intended use shall be obtained from the copyright holder. This applies when the photograph shows a work of art in such a way that publishing requires permission from the artist. The person using the photograph is responsible for obtaining such permission. Innovation Norway is not responsible for the artist's copyright when using our photos. BONO www.bono.no will be able to help in an advisory capacity and to obtain permission to publish photographs from the database that show works of art.
